ReCreation Day Camp

ReCreation Camp is a high-energy day camp designed for all kids going into grades 1st-6th to experience camp and Jesus Christ without the cost or commitment of staying overnight.

the experience

Kids are assigned to a small group of campers where they build friendships, participate in camp activities together, and grow in their understanding and faith in Jesus Christ. Each group experiences three activity sessions per day. 

2024 Camp Details

  • July 24-26 from 9:00am-2:30pm

    • Drop off starts at 8:45am
  • Theme: Soul Survivor

    • Kids will hear a gospel message  each morning that will be reinforced during activities and hang out time.

Program

  • Camp Activities, Bible lessons, and swimming for all kids!

  • Kids will be split into age based groups. Based on sign ups, groups may vary slightly; example is 2nd-3rd grade group or 4th-5th grade group.

  • 1st-2nd grade kids will participate in:

    • Active games, swimming, crafts, and other activities
  • 3rd-4th grade kids will participate in:

    • Archery, BB Guns, swimming, and other activities
  • 5th-6th grade kids will participate in:

    • Zip line, high ropes, swimming, and other activities
    • Zipline availability is on a first-register/ first-serve basis as their are limited spots available

things to know

  • ReCreation Day Camp is for all children going into 1st-6th grade.
  • Registration cost includes a camp t-shirt and three days of camp activities.
  • Kids are divided into groups based on age. You can request to be in a small group with other friends of the same age, and we will do our best to put them together if possible.
  • Your kids safety is our priority.
    • All staff and volunteers have passed a background check and child protection training seminar. 
    • We maintain groups of three or more where no adult or child is left alone with another person.
  • Our schedule is packed with constant activity to keep kids engaged with our program and one another.

before you arrive

Sign Waivers

  • A waiver must be filled out and signed for every participant.
  • They can be accessed by a link in your confirmation email. 

Dress appropriately

  • Dress comfortably for weather.
  • Wear tennis shoes or other secure footwear.
  • Flip flops and high heels are not allowed.

Bring essentials

  • Lunch (labeled)
  • Water bottle (labeled)
  • Backpack (labeled)
  • Bug spray 
  • Sun screen
  • Towel and swimsuit

how to arrive

Drop Off Instructions

  • Please plan to arrive at 8:45am to drop off your kids.
  • We will greet you at the first gate and provide directions for drop off. 
  • Once you have reached the drop off location, stop your car, let your kids exit and head to their group, and then slowly exit through the gate.

Pick Up Instructions

  • Please plan to arrive at 2:15pm to pick up your kids.
  • Enter through the first gate and drive slowly to the drop off/pick up location.
  • Once you have reached the pick up location, stop your car, let your kids enter your vehicle and buckle up, and then slowly exit through the gate.
