WHEN: July 30-August 1 (Tuesday – Thursday)      9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (check-in starts 8:30 a.m.)

Cost: $35 per person (includes camp t-shirt)

For all children GOING INTO grades 1-6 for the 2019-2020 school year.

Q: How do I register?
A: REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. For registered campers, please bring the ACTIVITY RELEASE FORM already completed and ready to turn in the first day of camp or email completed forms to recreation@visionministry.org.
 
Q: How much does it cost? A: The $35 registration fee can be paid by check to Vision Ministry, 10310 Bailey Cove Road SE, Huntsville, AL 35803 or online through PayPal by clicking HERE. Please include RE-CREATION CAMP and the name of your child in the memo line of your check or PayPal Payment.
 
Q: What is included?
A: See schedule below. Price includes t-shirt and activities. Lunch is NOT provided. Campers will need to bring a sack lunch each day. Campers will get to choose their top 6 choices from 10 different tracks. We will assign them to 4 tracks that they will experience for the 3 days of camp. Tracks campers can choose from include the following:
  • Crafts
  • Low Ropes Challenge Course (Children going into Grades 3-6 only)
  • High Ropes Challenges (Children going into Grades 4-6 only)
  • Swimming
  • Field Games
  • Art Works (Learn and experience the joy of art)
  • Archery (Children going into Grades 3-6 only)
  • Water Games
  • Outdoor Skills (Camping and Nature)
Q: What should each camper bring/wear to camp?
A: Campers should bring a sack lunch with their name clearly written on the outside and on all other containers. Campers should wear comfortable clothes for play/outdoor activities (shorts/t-shirts/tennis shoes – no flip flops). If swimming or participating in the water games track, swimwear should be modest. Children will put on play clothes over swimsuit after swimming. Supply a towel labeled with your child’s name.
 
Q: What does the theme mean?
A: This year’s theme, “Hurry Up!”, will cover 3 Biblical accounts of where people “Hurried Up” in different ways. As children interact with these stories, they will discover what God has for their own lives. 
Day 1 – Hurry Up and Wait – Noah – Genesis 7:6-8:19
Day 2 – Hurry Up and Turn Around – Jonah – Jonah 1-3
Day 3 – Hurry Up and Run – Paul – Philippians 3:12-14
