Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: How do I register?
A: REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. Registration is not considered complete until we have received the form, an activity release waiver for your child, and payment. See the registration form for more details.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: The $35 registration fee can be paid by check to Vision Ministry, 10310 Bailey Cove Road SE, Huntsville, AL 35803 or online through PayPal by clicking HERE. Please include RE-CREATION CAMP and the name of your child in the memo line of your check or PayPal Payment.
Q: What is included?
A: See schedule below. Price includes t-shirt and activities. Lunch is NOT provided. Campers will need to bring a sack lunch each day.
Due to CDC and ACA guidelines and recommendations, track offerings are grouped together. For a simple explanation, the children will be assigned to a “traveling group” that will remain together for the duration of the camp. This group will be no larger than 10 and will be assigned a Shepherd (adult guide). This group of 10 will rotate through their track choices so that contact with larger groups does not occur. Below are all the possible arrangements of tracks. Choose 3 options so that we have some flexibility in assigning them. Tracks will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis and they are unable to be changed once camp starts.
Be aware that all track groupings with an asterisk (*) are for children 3rd grade and up. See registration form for the possible track groupings.
Q: What should each camper bring/wear to camp?
A: Campers should bring a sack lunch with their name clearly written on the outside and on all other containers. They should also have their own labeled water bottle. Campers should wear comfortable clothes for play/outdoor activities (shorts/t-shirts/tennis shoes – no flip flops). If swimming, swimwear should be modest. Children will put on play clothes over swimsuit after swimming. Supply a towel labeled with your child’s name. As they will be walking around the campus each day, each camper should also bring a backpack for belongings.
Q: What does the theme mean?
A: This year’s theme, “CHANGED,” will have us looking at how God brings about change for us and in us.
Day 1: David and Goliath He changes the rules
Day 2: Jesus Resurrected He changes our future
Day 3: Saul/Paul on road to Damascus He changes our hearts
