Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: How do I register?
A: Begin your registration by completing THIS REGISTRATION FORM.
Registration is not considered complete until we have received the digital form, release waiver, and payment.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: If we are notified of cancellation at least 30 days prior to the event you will receive a full refund. A cancellation within 30 days of the event will receive a 50% refund. This policy will be honored for any cancellation for any reason including COVID-related cancellations.

The only exception to this policy would be if the CDC or Alabama Department of Health mandates no gatherings during the time of this conference. Then we would refund all registrants 100%.

Q: Can I sign up now and pay later?
A: You are welcome to submit the registration form now, but an individual is not considered officially registered (and therefore, your spot will not be held for you) until we receive the Registration Form, Release Waiver, and full payment. Early bird payments must be RECEIVED by December 31, 2020 in order to qualify for the reduced rate.

Q: What is included?:
A. See schedule below. Price includes all accommodations, meals, snacks, materials, and a few surprises.

Q: What are the accommodations like?
A: For those choosing to stay at the Lodge, you will be assigned to one of the nine guest rooms. Guest rooms will be assigned based on the number of people in your group. If you are coming as an individual, you will be rooming with at least one other individual. Guest rooms in the Lodge have variations of room set ups, so please visit the Lodge page on our website to see these variations. While you cannot choose your room, you can see the possible arrangements. All bed linens and towels are provided at the Lodge. You will not share a bed with someone you do not know.

For those choosing to stay in our bunkhouses, you will be assigned to a bunkroom. Bunkrooms also vary in size, with some holding up to 8 beds and some holding 4 beds. If you are coming as an individual, you will be rooming with at least 2 other individuals. Bunkrooms all feature twin size beds. Please visit the Legacy Camp page on our website to see the possible configurations. All bed linens are provided at Legacy Camp, but you will need to bring your own towel. Legacy Camp is a short distance from the Lodge, where all of the main teaching will take place.

Q: What about COVID-19?
A: The Vision follows the guidelines set down by the CDC and ACA. While we hope that by the Spring of 2021 this time of extra precautions will subside, if current trends continue, we will follow the guidelines set forth through The Vision. This includes “family groups” assigned through accommodations. These “family groups” will also eat together and engage in small group discussion together. Masks will be worn when safe distances cannot be maintained. For further questions, call our office at 256-713-8888.

Q: What do I need to bring?
A: Outside of those items needed when you travel (clothing, toiletries, etc.), bring a refillable water bottle, Bible, and pen. If you have particular snacks that you like, bring those as well. They may be stored in common areas but not in any of the guest rooms/bunkrooms). If you would like to bring an extra blanket, please feel free to do so. All bed linens are provided by The Vision. Towels are provided at the Lodge but not at the Bunkhouses.

Q: What does the theme mean?
A: This annual event is called ONE. The driving passage for the retreat concept is Ephesians 4:4-5:

“There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism.”

The over-arching idea is that we are all ONE in Christ. We are part of ONE body. There is ONE Spirit that moves in us. We have a united hope. We serve ONE Lord. We profess ONE faith.

What does all this mean? With so many strong things that unite us, why would we allow for division? Let’s come together to grow so that all will know Jesus is God’s Son and that God loves them (John 17:21, 23).

Each year, we will spend the weekend focusing on God and God alone. This year, we are studying through Isaiah 6. So get ready for what happens WHEN WE SEE GOD.

Please call our office at 256-713-8888 or email one@visionministry.org with any further questions.
